It’s August, 1985 — the end of another summer. The sun dips low over Camp Karapache, painting the lake a deep, golden orange. The last bus of screaming, laughing campers has rattled down the dirt road, leaving behind the quiet creak of the docks and the hum of cicadas in the trees.

You’re here with the last handful of your fellow counselors. Some of you are still packing up, some are setting up for the after party, and others are already daring each other to explore places the campers aren’t allowed to go. But in the woods that surround Camp Karapache, the shadows feel just a little too deep… and sometimes, you swear, you hear something moving in them.
